I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Indiana. I have been counseling individuals, couples, children, and families since 1994. I received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Butler University, as well as a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Indiana University. I am a graduate of the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute where I have received additional training in psychotherapy.
As part of my mission to help people learn about themselves and grow, I wrote the Self column in Indianapolis Woman from 1996 to 2009. I also have offered community workshops on spirituality (“Journaling as Prayer” and “The Cup of Life”) and courses for IUPUI’s Continuing Education program (“Telling Our Stories” and “Spiritual Autobiography: Writing Through the Heart”).
I am a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
